Ann Van de Winckel, PhD

Biography

Dr. Ann Van de Winckel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at UMN and Director of the Brain Body Mind Lab. She is a neuroscientist and physical therapist with 21 years of experience in brain imaging in adults with neurological diseases and in developing clinical evaluation scales.

Angie Philippus, PhD

Biography

Ms. Philippus is a Research Project Specialist 2 in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Minnesota. She has over 12 years of specialized experience managing research studies involving individuals with neurological injuries. Ms. Philippus is pursuing a doctorate in clinical science to further her research interests in psychosocial factors that contribute to increased participation and positive psychological outcomes after injury. Ms. Philippus serves as Project Manager and Lead Data Collector for the MN Regional SCIMS.

Nguyen Nguyen, MPH

Biography

Mr. Nguyen is a Data Analyst & Study Coordinator in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the UMN Medical School. He has seven years of experience conducting analyses for SCI observational, cohort, and clinical trials. He is an expert in biostatistics, database development, database management, and REDCap.

Kimberley Monden, PhD

Biography

Dr. Monden is an Associate Professor, Licensed Psychologist, and Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the UMN Medical School with experience in SCI clinical care and research. Dr. Monden studies resilience and appraisals of injustice, with a specific interest in improving quality of life and long-term psychosocial outcomes after spinal cord injury.
